Gopher Fest
It's been a great few months for popping gophers, especially productive post-litter stage. Hussar-Okotoks-Bassano-Nanton have been my areas of focus and my total tally for the year to-date (March-June) is 2794. I recently switched my ammo of choice from CCI 38 Grain 22LR HP to Winchester Super-X High Velocity 40 Grain 1435FPS 22LR HP (on sale for 12.49/box/100 at BassPro); the later provides increased accuracy with a knock-down punch!! Rifle of choice is my Browning T-Bolt Varmint Hunter!
