The good ole reliable pheasant tail nymph
Bought at the fishing hole cause I suck at tying them. I think that one is a size 12 or 10.
The cool part is the dry fly and streamer fishing were all flies that I've picked up in the USA over the last few years. Steamer and dries were the most thunderous hits. One streamer hit took me into my backing. As i'm getting the line back on the reel the fish flies upstream now and you can hear the line sizzle it is going to fast....into the backing again. Love this time of year!
