Nutrition vs cost?
1st: Beef Tenderloin (buy it whole and cut steaks out of it and then freeze)
2nd:Beef Striploin. Again, buy a whole one and cut your own.
3rd: Beef Ribeye Cut in 1/2 get 2 meals out of one
I would give Duchess meats a call in Duchess AB.
The CLEANEST I have ever been into in terms of processing. Both the floor and the cutting area.
John is a heck of a good guy, Call him up and order 2 complete striploins (should be good for 18-25 steaks @ 1.25" ea) and save a bundle of cash.)
Let others pay the extra 3 bucks a lb to the grocery stores for the individual cut an wrapped steaks.
Just my .02
