Default Dinner/Auction

On Saturday, November 3rd the Northern Lights Fly Fishers Chapter of Trout Unlimited Canada is holding its annual dinner/auction and would like to invite you to attend.
It's a simple dinner - shepherd's pie, salad, cold cuts, barbecued pork cheese, buns, with a beer and wine cash bar - and a fun and friendly evening with opportunity to participate in a silent auction on a wide variety of household, outdoor, art, fishing, clothing, Christmas etc. items for both men and women, a 50/50 and a few other activities. Tickets are just $15 and all proceeds go towards supporting the educational and conservation activities of the Chapter for another year. It's at Kenilworth Community Hall, 7104-87 Ave., Edmonton from 5:30 to 9:30 pm. Tickets available on Eventbrite nlffauction.eventbrite.ca www.eventbrite.ca…
Going into its 41st year the Chapter will be: teaching kids in schools, youth groups, Uncles at Large, etc. to tie a woolly bugger (we've taught approx. 6000 so far), providing seminars and workshops on introducing people to fly fishing and fly tying, offering free Weds. evening fishing related presentations and information sharing sessions and a variety of conservation projects in association with Alberta Environment and Parks and the Alberta Conservation Association. We just need to raise a few dollars to keep it going! Donations of goods or services for the Auction would be much appreciated. If you can't attend but have an item or two to donate for the auction please email Events@nlft.org

Check out the Chapter website http://www.nlft.org/ to find out more, take the Fish ID quiz and read or join in on the fishing and conservation topics on the forum. Anyone with an interest in fish, fishing, freshwater or flytying is welcome to the Weds. evening meetings at Queen Mary Park Community Hall - no charge!
