My Uncle used to trap up on the Knailer Hills. Every winter he had Bears or at least a Bear steal bait from sets. It would follow his trail for a few miles hitting every set, then leave the trail and not return till the next chinook came through.

He showed me it's tracks one winter. Not a good feeling traveling that overgrown trail with eight inch Bear tracks running down the middle of it.
