If I was fined $600.00 it isn't the end of the world. As mentioned, if conditions called for a fire ban I would comply, but they don't, not even remotely and I most assuredly would not be the cause of a wildfire so a $100,000.00 + fire fighting fine is extraordinarily unlikely. Besides, even in the most tinder dry, windy, high risk conditions I can safely manage a camp fire because I'm not an idiot. I have never done it, because previously fire bans have been put in place reasonably when conditions called for it. Which is nay the now.
