PCR is not safe yet, uneven ice formation and with these fluctuating temps, more uneven thaw/freeze. Some open water under the bridge and likely from boat launch and south.
If you're new to ice fishing, there is much to learn about ice and where it is thickening and thinning even during the coldest temps. E.g., if snow is melting on a hill, it can flow under the ice at shore making that area pungy,,, if there was a large weedbed that you liked in the summer, it might be rotting now causing uneven formation,, snow on ice is not always your friend and knowing to look for those certain colours/shadows.
Go with someone who knows their stuff, or wait it out a bit longer.
