To me, your situation says 6.5 PRC.
But, their is nothing wrong with the 270 or any of the choices mentioned by lots of great outdoorsmen who’ve chimed in.
They all pretty much kill equally, so don’t fret over the choice. Just buy a new gun from a local gun store, not a big box, publicly owned store.
