29 be careful that you hunt west half of WMU 353 for your cow moose. Cows do not jump the rut early like young bulls. They go into rut when they go into estrus, usually in October.
Very limited number elk in wmu 353, somewhere around 30 only taken each year with around 300 tags issued. However nice to have tag in your pocket if you get lucky, hope this helps.
