I didnt throw it out , I brought it home and a fellow AO member is using it for trim on some mittens . I dont like to leave em in the field either as it seems to trains the birds to eat em . I've had a bit of luck before with the same problem where I was able to salvage the hide and tho it went as damaged it was in much better shape than this one .Can't sew it up when that big of a hole is there .
