Nic pics! A few years ago, I was crossing the South Saskatchewan near Burstall and noticed something on the side of the road on the bridge. Parked at the end and ran back. It was two GGO chicks, almost ready to fly but not quite feathered out yet. They were either clicking their tongues or clacking their beaks, not sure. Anyway, threw my coat over the first one and ran him off to the end of the bridge and placed him in the tall grass off to one side. Went back for the other one. It didn't work quite as well as he latched on to my coat. I ran with him hanging upside down and wings spread out as he tore a few holes in my coat. Placed it next to his sibling and left them. Hope they made it.
