I tend agree. The differences are minimal. The 4200 was a decent scope. I would save $$$ use this one for a year or two..stop going to Tim Hortons (brew your own) and down the road look at the scopes with increased power ratio like the Z6 Swarovski 2.5-15x56 with BT. Great field of view and power range! In a year who knows what else is out there.
I wouldn't budge with the budget you have now... save $$$$$
