Yeah I have quite a few of the perch pattern clackin raps and havent tried them yet. I betcha they'll work awesome though. I intend on trying them out at Wabamun right when the lakes open in May. The trophy pike should still be in shallow.  |
the pikes metablism wont be ready for fast moving baits in may. yull get the odd one.
id go to the shallow black bottom and throw a minnow on a jig.
i havent caught anything ff clakin raps and i use em often only a couple pesty walleye. but the rattlin raps in gold are legends also in minnow color/chrome blue.
