Aboriginal rights are those outlined in the treatys and have been added to based on the advancement of the human race. There is a clause that allows the hunting rights to be modified but no-one in the political office has the stones to excersise our right to modify them.

With the changes to the hunting laws. you once again tried to deflect and gave no reason why that wouldn't work. if you had a memory longer than a goldfish you would remember my comments about the changes coming from within. It is up to the bands to step up and realize that in TODAYS day in age there should be control to ensure the privledge to hunt is around for generations.
Prior to 1982 a named Chui moved to Canada to work on building the railways, he married a Cree woman and was immediatly entered onto the Band registry as a member of her band. He is now an oriental aboriginal with all rights of any regular band member......LMFAO..there you go stoopid do you get it now?? If you'd have paid attention in school you would know this....

Why change what isn't broken? Most aboriginals don't hunt, just like most whites don't hunt. You just want to break the treaty hunting clauses so you can have more access to tags......pretty self serving. imho
