You're not alone in your thinking. I've watched alot of tails and antlers disappear into the bush without feeling I needed to empty my rifle in that general direction. I made my choice in bullets based on that line of thinking. One of the guys I hunt with always says, "As long as there's lead in the air there's hope." We always joke about who packs more ammo, but he also knows that I will always be there to help him out if a bad decision to take a shot turns into a sh!t show.
