Just got ours in January so got no real life intel yet!!!!
But that being said when I searched high and Low for a kayak the old town pdl system stood out above the rest for durability etc plus the 5 year warranty is awesome.
Some are in their kayaks 3 days a week fishing and have no issues and some have issues as with anything but the game changer is the warranty.
We put on the Navarre floating prop nut, drive spacers so the drive is always centred and got a spare prop too.
Just rotating the peddle by hand it is smooth as butter and effortlessly.
Could give you a better report at the end of the season but you will already have purchased a new kayak [emoji4]
