I looked at doing this and ended up buying a "new" 101 (actually several as it turned out)
The new model 101s are built in Belgium and by my experience anyway are pretty solid.
I have replaced the firing pins in mine but that is after several 10s of thousands of rounds and also during the time when Cheddite primers were having punch through problems
The value of a pigeon grade 101 is such that you could probably trade it for a modern gun already fitted with screw ins with only a small cash contribution
