I use lipless, rattlin Rapalas in all four seasons. They cast great, they jig great and they catch me a lot of Jacks. Not just the Rapala brand but Cotton Cordell and Rat-L-Trap make lipless, rattlin, cranks. The Rat-L-Trap 1 oz salt water size is fantastic. I prefer the blue chrome variations. They're great on walleye as well.
