I was not there and don’t know everything that took place so I am not going to lay any judgement
Personally after 3weeks I would not be concerned about finding this deer and focus on what I need to do differently in the future to prevent a repeat of this kind of situation. Any antlers recovered 3 weeks later from a scenario like this I would not be proud of
