My buddy and I were parked on the side of the road glossing a pea field opening day looking at elk and some bears. He pulled up behind us. We had a great talk on problem bears. Checked us and made sure we knew that our bear tags were not required on the private land we were hunting. We ended up shooting 2 that morning. He drove up glassed us seen it was us waved and drove away. Iam sure everyone heard the rifle shots in bow season and called it in lol.
I had one bad encounter with a fish cop years ago who didn't understand a hinged floor plate on a rifle kept demanding my mag so he could check the gun

Turned a light switch for him was so nice...
Anyway the guy married my RCMP cousin....
They have a hard job with little resources and less respect. I take my.hat off to them
