I forgot to mention that when we made these shacks back in MB, the only piece of plywood was the floor and the roof. The walls were constructed from 2X2's and sheeted with wood panelling...you know, the stuff that covered your basement walls in the 70's! lol
That really cut down on weight and it is just sturdy enough to give you a solid shack. I think you can still buy that stuff..it's pretty thin but seems to last.

ya my old man made one with the wall paneling and it was light but the paneling on his fell apart from the weather, but it wasnt painted or anything.
