When I looked at the pic of the guns I said hey I got a lakefield just like that that I sanded down when I was 12-14 not sure on the oil finish but I definitely dident clean out the checkering lol. I couldent imagine how many thousands of gofers that gun has shot on the farm. I also have a sears 22 I got from a guy that’s the same just branded different. Neat story his wife worked for sears late 70s they had a promotion on guns an employee discount an Mabe something else he bought the gun for 15 dollars new. He said they were about a hundred regular
