Edmonton is stuck with him unless they can trade him now to Seattle for more draft picks.
I dont fault them for making the money. They make what they can, I think we all would.
Nurse is only 26 so this contract will take him to 34-35. At least he is not 30, with 9 yrs to go.
And he does still seem to be improving.
