Much closer, nice course, very quiet. Catttail Crossing about 2 miles west of the Edmonton Namao Garrison. You can also golf at the Garrison course, they allow civilian golfers, rates are low, course it quiet. both are 18 hole courses. About 15 minutes on the Henday, take the 82 St exit, you can't hit Valour ave off of 97St.
Cattail has an EXCELLENT restaurant run by the guy the used to own and chef at the Hardware grill downtown. Way up from most restaurants and far from standard golf course food. I don't golf but I eat at the restaurant at least once a week.
