I haven't watched him enough to know, but something seems off there. He's a 29 year old defenceman, in the prime of his game, who's put up an average 48 pts/year for the last seven years. Looking at those numbers, who wouldn't want him on their team!?! But, it's his 3rd team in 3 years and he signed a one year deal for $3.75M.

I know it's early, but Montreal is 3rd in the league and Edmonton is 3rd last, from a simple points perspective (and one of those teams is Dallas who hasn't played any games).
