I have a Ruger M77 Hawkeye compact stainless laminate in 7mm-08. Its a great little rifle and I’ve shot a bunch of deer and one bull moose with it. Zero issues and the only downside in my mind is the lack of a detachable mag, although once you leave the truck it’s a moot point...
