I am currently working right beside lake Summerside and saw a couple guys out on the ice today so I wandered out to see how they were doing- the ice is about 9 inches and snow covered- one guy hadn’t had any luck but told me he’s caught 12 inch stockbows out of there and the odd nice perch and said that just this year brook trout were added to the lake- the next guy had caught a handful of 2 inch perch - basically every time his hook neared the bottom it got mauled by dinkyperch- I saw him land a couple so now I can firmly say there are indeed perch in Summerside - I was hoping to feel out if I could get permission to fish the lake from one of these guys but it seems like a really closedoff fishery
