I started reloading recently for a scoped Yugo 48A. I used corrosive 150 grain surplus to get the rifle on paper and it's terrible. The first test batch of reloads shot 1.5 inch groups compared to 5 inch on surplus.

I'd try P&D as they have a good selection of everything. Apparently the sniper ammo for these was in the 196 gr region as the rifle has a long throat.

I also resize 3006 brass for the 8 mm. Pop them into the resizing die and trim off excess with a hacksaw. Clean up the case mouths and pop them into 8 mm dies and reload. It does not take long and you end up with lots of brass.
