Of course it's a different beast every day...dang things like that are tough to finger but it doesn't sound too major if there's no coolant in your oil. ( milky color on the bottom of the dipstick.) Definitely a sensor or electrical issue if it's throwing codes. Wish I knew more about toyotas bud. It's a shame to go nuts replacing parts that aren't the problem. It gets expensive and frustrating fast. Unhook your battery for 5 minutes. Maybe it will reset itself for a bit and run perfect for ya. Then you know it's not mechanical at least.
