I've landed 3 15+ lb pike this year from my kayak. It's just not possible to snap a picture next to a tape measure. Sorry but they are brutes to handle and still manage your yak and rod.

Perhaps the competitors could fish in pairs. The pairs would need to stay in close proximity and help each other out - landing, picture taking, etc.
Pairs could be drawn randomly to avoid any cheating.

Great idea, by the way. I'm in for sure!
