We did Keto for 3 months last year and I lost 40lbs. Only gained 10ish lbs back from drinking beer all summer. Mostly kept the Keto diet, just added beer. If only whiskey tasted as good to me as beer does I’d never go off Keto. I’m back on the keto this year and I’ve lost 15 lbs in a month.
What I’ve found works best for me is not to eat anything processed even if it’s keto friendly. Lettuce wrapped fast food burgers come to mind. Instead I either always pack a lunch or at worst go to a grocery store for lunch and get a 1/2 roasted chicken and raw veggies.
