The funny (or sad) part is, illegal immigration hit a high point in 2000, almost 20 years ago, and has been declining ever since then. The wall is a distraction, unnecessary, and a huge waste of money. But like anything else, if you want a distraction (like maybe an investigation), cause a controversy elsewhere.
