Expand a licking branch into a field. If you hunt field edges with deer feeding in field go out about 20 yds into field from your stand. Cut a tree about 12-15 ft high with branches about 4 feet off ground. Dig a narrow hole and place tree in and pack it down so it stays standing. Make a mock scrape below tree on your stand side and add your scent of choice. When deer come into field and see that lone tree standing out in field all by its lonesome they will come to investigate it and work scrape. Just make sure to remove tree at end of your hunt
