My Handi Hornet is an oddity. In the last production era H&R reduced costs by using a 1-9 twist 223 barrel blanks for the Hornet. It is one thing that drew me to this rifle. A factory 9 twist Hornet is quite an oddity. That is also why I gravitate to the heavier 45gr bullet weights in factory loads. Here is a thread regarding this:
