Are you sure its a Rabbit? I thought the same thing a month ago, my beet and pea leaves were getting destroyed and I thought I had a rabbit doing all the damage. Finally about 10 days ago, the wife saw a skunk sneaking around the backyard around 11pm. Went and bought a live trap, have caught 4 skunks in the last week.
If you have a game camera, might not hurt to throw it out and confirm what you actually have around there.
