The CM is great cartridge for sure but with a 140 gr bullet, or heavier, it still won't do anything the old Swede with a modern action won't do .. unless it sports a 28 " barrel.
The fact that it uses a short action and can be used in an autoloader are about the only real advantages I see in the Creedmore.
Too bad that the current SAAMI specs for the 100 year old 6.5x55 hamstrung a near perfect cartridge - and good on Hornady for identifying a marketing niche and making it work. They are going to sell a lot of ammo for this one. Ballistically speaking,the more things change, the more they stay the same. As a hunting cartridge, my money is on the Swede.
