Default Suggesting PROPER STORAGE of whole COYOTES

To the guys that are interested in selling whole coyotes.
Proper storage enhances their value.
Ideally store them by hanging lengthwise by the hind legs in a cold storage area, grainery, shed, shelter, or shaded area out of the direct sunlight.
Don't store them by laying on the ground or floor of a building on top of each other. They get crumpled, froze to the floor, loose guard hairs when pulled away, get flattened and chewed by mice, and difficult to transport when they are shaped every which way.
Crumpled coyotes are often intentionally stored that way to hide bullet damge or other problems. Buyers are aware of this tactic.
The fresher the coyotes - the more appealing to the buyer.
The older they get - more dried out - harder to skin - less appealing.
