A mixture of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda is absolutely the best at getting rid of any stench.

It is basically oxyclean, so it is safe on fabrics (oxyclean is baking soda and another dry chemical that reacts with water to turn into hydrogen peroxide).

I used it to wash the stink right out of a skunk pelt.

If the friggin cat decides to pee on something, it washes that stink out.

The girlfriend spilled a bottle of tea tree oil on some clothes and it took that out. (scent "eliminating" hunting detergent did nothing).


Just don't let it sit on the inside of the fur too long. I suspect it may have caused some slippage I had once.
