Yes it is non destructive testing and they are still in demand. I worked with them on a weekly basis for 20 some years and to date I have yet to get a demerit on my record with absa. Not related, just sharing but they do work long hours as already said and can be away from home for extended periods. Starting out is tough as its not an average trade to get into but the boys I've worked with over the years really enjoy what they do.
