If you are looking for a simple style camp ie. semi flat ground for a tent, a picnic table and a fire pit in the camp stall. There are hundreds of them around edmonton. They are normally run by the counties on the outskirts of edmonton. I can vouch for the Athabasca county campsites very simple and normally quite at the smaller lakes. Do a quick google search for say strathcona county or sturgeon county camp sites and it will give you an idea what your looking at.
