yeah we've tried everything as well. I've had guys cut the tree down and take the tree chunk with the cam on it. I can't afford new cams every year so there has to be a better way. I have a couple smaller cams i hide just to watch my main cam in case its stolen.

You should drive a 10 inch spike above and below your cam at an upward and downward angle in the tree, if they try to cut out the section with a chainsaw hopfully they hit the spikes and destroy the chain. Maybe teach them a lesson in curtesy.
