I suggest that you take your new kayak out a few times - and then decide if you need the extra stability outriggers provide. Newbies biggest fear seems to be that kayaks are too 'tippy', but usually find that a modern kayak - especially a fishing kayak, is actually quite stable.
Outriggers can get in the way and be a real PITA.
