There isn't enough price difference around Calgary to justify the gas and time to drive all over the city. However, the selection at various shops does differ so you will have to shop around a bit. I used to use Mustad for everything down to and including #18 but in the past few years their QC seems to have slipped so now I use them for #10 and larger but Tiemco from #12 and down for most styles, especially dry flies.
