Default Repairing 1967 Winchester 100 Model .308

My father passed down a beautiful rifle he used long ago and never got around to repairing it after a fall in the woods left this piece with a broken stock and some mechanical issues. I have all the pieces and am looking to find a new stock and get the firearm working again.

Apparently there was a recall on this model something about a firing pin and there are authorized gunsmiths that Winchester still pays to fix the issue? I do not believe this issue was addressed on this one before its fateful demise.

I would love nothing more than to find someone who can help me get this rifle working for this hunting season. Any advise you wise ol gents may have will really make my season that more enjoyable this year.
