They are very easy to keep clean. I can strip one with my eyes closed, and I have only cleaned my SKS rifles maybe a half dozen times.

$120 is a fantastic price for a used rifle, I'd jump on it if I were you (as long as it isn't rusted to bits or have missing or broken parts).

We are definitely seeing the last of the SKS imports for a while now, many dealers are sold out already. Hopefully more shipments will come.
