Like the others have said... The 4th class exams are not brutally tough. A bit of mechanical aptitude and math aptitude and you are golden. I am a 3rd class operator and I am operating a gas plant. Best job out there and a heck of a lot more steady than some other trades out there. MANY doors will open with your combo of tickets. Good luck and fire a pm if any other questions.
