The regs will let you know what the speices limits are on various sections of the river.

I have fished the NSR in between Rocky and Drayton for many years and never seen a Rainbow. That is very intresting. Have seen lots of nice Browns, Brookies, Pike, Walleye, Rockies,Sauger and the odd large Bull. I know there are a few Rainbows above Abraham lake. Never knew they were that far down.
