I agree sometimes we have to drink the kool-aid (that the NRA offers, it is tasty
)and wake up......if all you do is sit down or kneel then you can't whine when a change happens that you said nothing against.
I get why you did what you did....IMHO I would have done the same thing just in a bit different tone...but thats just me
