Haven't been on in a while. While moose hunting in mid Nov, put in a few hours in the am hunting moose/elk and then shooting dogs in the afternoon. The first one came in as a pair, I managed to nail one and then both of us tried hitting the second one while it was doing mach 5 at 270 yds. Needless to say we got the one. Remington 700vls in .22-250 with Leupold VX-3L scope. 36gr Varmit grenade handloads. The coyote was shot at 360yds. I love the varmit reticle....
Second doggy was shot at 260yds. It was small enough that we walked past him 3 times as it blended in and was hid by the stubble...
