where to sell some old GI Joes toys?
I have a box full of old GI Joe toys from when I was a kid and I don't need them just sitting around in a box anymore...tired of moving them. Any ideas where I could sell them and not take it dry?

Are their torsos still attached to the legs? the elastics go and are easy to replace but they offer more value if still in 1 piece

Try bid battle on Face book.

Gawd I wish I still had some of my old Joe's. Most died in battle, standing in a line against pellet gun fire in 1989.
At least I still have some of my old comics... Colin |
Search sold listings on eBay. Give you an idea of value.

I've looked online at Star Wars figures due to having some from back in the day, and some of the guns are worth more than the guys. I'd guess the pieces easily lost. Sadly the prices were less than I was expecting. I have GI Joe as well, but figured they probably were even less money as they were from the 80's only.

I still have mine, pretty much mint except for a bald spot that he had from the factory.
My Big Jim, however, well, he's a little more worse for wear, but he can still flex his biceps and do that karate-chop when you press the button on his back. Hmmmm... Wonder where they are... Gave 'em to the kids a few years ago and haven't seen them for a while... |
At 14 I had an affinity to explosives..... black cat firecrackers. You could stretch the elastic out enough to slip a firecracker in there. The entire army, navy, Air Force, and marine force was decimated.
I still got my LEGO though :) Good luck selling the gi joe’s. You don’t have any kids or nephews who might want them? |

Like Kurt said pass em on to your kids or at least keep em for them when you have em. I held onto my old Micro Mini cars and my boys loved playing with them. Was lots of fun for me to get on the ground and play with those old cars again. I may have had more fun then they did !!! |
Any Ken dolls?......Barbie lonely.
|
Take them down to Gold and Silver Pawn in Vegas and see what Chumlee will give you for them!
He’s gonna have to phone a friend though... |
First he will play with them

What did make it were handed down to my son. I still have all my LEGO too. Well, my son does plus what we bought him over the years. |

Last time I checked, including what my two boys have accumulated, we got about 5 or 6 boxes about 24x24x30 full of LEGO, must be worth about $300,000 or so..... hahaha! |

eBay is where the majority of collectors look.
My family sold a inherited Barbie collection 15 years ago on eBay. Bidding war got us over 15k for em. |
E-Bay is the place, just do some research first.
Last year my kid made a couple thou selling a bunch of HALO figurines. |
Yup

You can get a base value idea from this site. All things GI Joe. It shows all the active prices and ebay auctions.
https://www.collectorsweekly.com/toys/gi-joe You can do some research here too. A good site. Some people are looking for certain GI Joes. You could advertise them here too. https://www.yojoe.com/ |
The guys that have the show Canadian Pickers, are they not based out of Calgary? I think you can take them to their store and let them give you an offer.
